I’ve been using this scooter for a bit now, and overall I’d say it’s okay, just not quite the perfect fit for me personally. It rides fine on normal flat streets and feels smooth for casual use, but once I get to hills, I can tell it starts to struggle a little with my weight. It still gets me where I need to go, so it’s not like it’s unusable or anything, but it does feel a bit strained and not as effortless as I was hoping. The other thing I noticed right away is that the deck is smaller than I expected from the pictures, so my feet don’t feel quite as comfortable as I’d like on longer rides. If you’re lighter or don’t deal with many hills, it might be totally fine, but I’d definitely recommend checking the size and weight limits closely before buying. Not a bad scooter, just one of those purchases where I wish I had looked a little more carefully first.

I ordered my scooter from flamingoscooters.com, and it’s quicker than I thought it would be. It takes off nicely from a full stop and doesn’t feel like it struggles when I’m riding on longer, open stretches.
The acceleration is smooth but still has a little kick, which makes short trips around town way more enjoyable. I’ve had a good experience with it so far, so I’d say it’s worth considering if you want something fun and easy to ride.

I don’t know why this has to feel so complicated, but the ride was just not comfortable. After about ten minutes, the seat started hurting, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how rough it felt.

I just needed something that felt stable, but this was wobbly from the start. Turning felt unsafe, and the balance was so bad that I didn’t feel comfortable using it. Frustrating when the most basic thing you’d expect is for it to stay steady

my warranty claim did get sorted in the end, but it took way too many emails back and forth. glad it was resolved, just wish the process had been a bit smoother.

I bought a scooter from Flamingo Scooters a few months ago, and for the most part it’s been solid. The build feels sturdy, the battery has held up well, and I haven’t had any major problems. That said, I did have a loose part come up, which was easy enough to fix, but it definitely made me trust it a little less than I did at first. I still like the scooter overall, but that small issue left me feeling like I need to keep an eye on things.

The scooter was fine overall, but for me the brakes were the main issue. Going downhill, they felt weak, and I had to squeeze harder than I expected just to slow down. I also found myself stopping earlier than I normally would, which made the ride feel a bit sketchy. I wouldn’t say it ruined the whole experience, but I definitely didn’t feel as safe as I’d like.

I wanted to look around, but the website just felt kind of outdated and messy. The colors didn’t really work together, and a few sections looked like they were added without much thought. It made me worry I’d waste my time or even end up regretting a purchase, so I didn’t feel confident sticking around.

It does fold up fine, so I’ll give it that, but... yeah, it still feels kind of bulky. Carrying it upstairs is more annoying than I expected, especially if you’re trying not to bump into the walls. And once it’s folded, it still takes up a decent chunk of hallway space. Not unusable or anything, just not as easy to carry and store as I was hoping.

I was disappointed with this scooter. The battery drained way faster than I expected, and going uphill it felt like it was struggling the whole time. Maybe I got a bad unit, but it definitely didn’t feel like it performed the way it was supposed to...

I returned my scooter and thought the refund would be straightforward, but nope... I ended up having to chase them for it. The replies were slow, which just made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be. Like, I get things take time, but having to keep following up was really annoying...

I had to wait a while before customer service got back to me. They did eventually help, which I appreciate, but the whole back-and-forth dragged on longer than I expected. What frustrated me most was that there wasn’t really any follow-up, so I felt like I had to keep checking in to get things moving.

I’ve mostly been using Flamingo Scooters for the control panel, and from my experience, it’s been really easy to get around. The layout makes sense, and the buttons are pretty much where you’d expect them, so I didn’t have to waste time hunting for things.
I’m not the most techy person, but I was still able to check what I needed and make a few changes without asking anyone for help. If the rest of the setup is this straightforward, I’d say it’s a user-friendly system overall.

I was surprised by how well it does on hills. There’s a steep road near my place, plus a couple smaller inclines by the park, the grocery store, and the back street I take sometimes, and it gets up all of them without much drama. It does slow down a bit on the steepest one, especially if I’m already going slower or carrying a bag, but it still makes it to the top fine. Not perfect, but definitely better than I expected.

I’ll admit I don’t usually trust customer service to be much help if something goes wrong, so I’m glad this part has been simple and hassle-free so far.

I was able to find most of the parts I needed, which was great, but umm, a few of them were out of stock for weeks. So it worked out in the end, just took more patience than I expected.
